Spanish Resale Properties For Sale
What is a resale property? A "resale property" is a home that has already been lived in opposed to a new development which hasn't. You could call it "second hand" - but the used term in the Real Estate industry is "resale".
Spanish resale properties are the most commonly purchased houses in Spain, new developments along the Spanish costa's have come under increased pressure and have suffered a great deal due to construction licensing, illegally built developments which also affect simple things such as water and electricity permits. Many cases have been highlighted in the media, situations have been to the extreme where resorts have had to be pulled down due to the illegal activities that have taken place in the new development sector. This is why a resale property nine times out of ten is a much safer purchase when buying a Spanish property.
This is not to say that purchasing a new construction is "unsafe", we actively promote new and popular resorts, however our team of professionals will ensure that all the correct paper work is in place before promoting such new developments on the Costa del Sol.
